the Lady chapel around midday in August from the bench by the wall - the three windows at the West make slanting shadows

Crows nesting in the ruins of the abbey
the view from behind the high altar - early evening
the sun was moving across the sky from left to right as I was drawing
this was nearly the last day of the year that the Abbey grounds are open until 8pm - from the 1st of September they close at 6pm - but the light in the evening is wonderful
a very quick sketch in the evening light as they are ringing the bell for people to get out of the grounds and go home
